Batman Arkham Shadow, the upcoming VR game in the Arkhamverse by publisher Oculus Studios, will soon be available exclusively on Meta Quest 3. Set between Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham Origins, the game is developed by Camouflaj and looks set to be another fantastic dive back into Batman's world.

During Gamescom Opening Night Live a new trailer for Batman Arkham Shadow was shown, giving fans a look at this new slice of the Arkhamverse. Despite the lack of an official announcement, the trailer suggests an October 2024 release.

The following is a list of Arkham Shadow's villains Batman will come face to face with that have been revealed so far:

Bruce Weitz voices the character of a former Arkham Asylum guard, Lyle Bolton, who was fired for brutally controlling inmates. Because of his extensive knowledge of incarceration, he often pretended to be a vigilante and sought out those responsible for his dismissal.

His debut in Batman: The Animated Series was an appearance in Season Two, Episode 17. However, the Arkham Shadow version describes him as a prominent TYGER guard.

The Ventriloquist

One of the confirmed antagonists for the forthcoming game is Arnold Wesker. Beginning with his appearance in Detective Comics #583, Ventriloquist appeared in the recent Batman: Arkham Shadow trailer.

Arnold Wesker, the brilliant criminal, was an oppressed orphan whose illicit activities landed him in Blackgate Prison. While incarcerated, he had an encounter with the Ventriloquist Scarface, and he killed his master to acquire Scarface as his pet.

Arkham Shadow sees the return of Batman: The Animated Series regular Harleen Frances Quinzel, a notorious Gotham City criminal.

As soon as she finished college, she started working as a psychologist at Arkham Asylum, where she specialized in studying super-criminals. Before becoming the Joker's sidekick, she worked there as his psychologist.

The villain Scarecrow, aka Dr. Jonathan Crane, is returning to the franchise in Arkham Shadow after a long absence. The notorious super-criminal has made cameo appearances in a plethora of franchises.

Dr. Jonathan Crane preyed on his patients' anxieties and fears by administering drugs to them. His bizarre research—which evolved into his psychopathic desires—was more important to him than wealth, unlike many villains.

Two-face, the former district attorney of Gotham City (Harvey Dent), is our next confirmed supervillain in Arkham Shadow.

The media dubbed the duality-obsessed Dent—Apollo because of his good looks, and he was one of Batman's early friends who prioritized maintaining law and order. Unfortunately, Sal "Boss" Maroni threw acid on him during one of his trials, causing severe burns and disfigurement.

Ratcatcher

As his name suggests, Otis Flannegan, the ratcatcher, can converse with and instruct rats. While employed beneath Gotham City's sewers, he began to participate in criminal activities with the help of his rat army.

He spent multiple terms in Blackgate prison, where he and his fellow inmates would smuggle goods in and out of the facility using rats. He has made several attempts to infest the city with rats, and his ability to converse with them allows him to wreak havoc even from behind bars.

Although we have yet to learn much about the game's main villain, the Rat King, the teaser shows Batman going to great lengths to protect the city from this evil.

As the story's antagonist, Rat King orders a group of terrorists inspired by rats to launch an assault on the metropolis.
