When Will Age of Mythology: Retold Release?

Age Of Mythology: Retold will be available on September 4, 2024. Game Pass users will be able to enjoy the game on Day One.

Age of Mythology: Retold Gameplay and Trailer

Age of Mythology: Retold uses the Bang Engine, the same game engine used in Age of Empires III: Definitive Edition. All aspects of the original game, including animations and voice-overs, are redone through the new engine.

Players will choose between Greek, Egyptian, Atlantean, and Norse mythology to create their civilization and army.

Deities from these myths can be summoned in-game, allowing for more devastating attacks. Other mythological creatures, such as Dryads, can also be summoned to further prosper their villages.

Players can now also manually trigger myth unit abilities. God powers, on the other hand, can now be multicast, with further multicasts costing more favors. An auto-economy feature has also been added, and idle Villagers will automatically work on nearby resource drop sites.

Raytracing is also an added feature, making the game look more colorful and dynamic. Several quality-of-life changes, such as a more comprehensive user interface, have also been made to the game.
