As well as Jack "CouRage JD" Dunlop, Eric "Snip3down" Wrona, Herschel "Dr DisRespect" Beahm, and Turner "TFU" Tenney were there to agree with NICKMERCS. They are veterans of the FPS genre and know what they're talking about. But is Apex Legends really that much better than Fortnite?

NICKMERCS outlined all of this in a tweet, and the biggest reason is the ranked mode. Apex Legends has had this advantage over Warzone since the two first faced off. Here is how he explains it:

Despite being big fans of Apex Legends, the other streamers have each played Warzone for a long time. Even if they know which one they prefer, it's hard to convince someone like Timothy' TimTheTatman' to agree since he wants nothing to do with Apex Legends.
It is yet to be seen if this new map will really be as hot as NICKMERCS claims. Apex Legends needs to disrupt Fortnite's newfound success in its newest seasons, though. After the anti-cheat comes out, they need to take down Warzone as well.
In time, we'll see who is the best.
