Battlefield 2042 made headlines when it was announced as a multiplayer-only title, with features like Battlefield Portal and a Battle Pass system expected to extend online gameplay, which is why fans hope that the Battlefield 2042 Maps are entertaining enough to play through multiple times.
Thankfully, EA has revealed a good number of Battlefield 2042 maps, for the regular game and the customizable Battlefield Portal, with more areas likely to come via free updates as the developers have admitted to fully embracing the live-service aspects for this multiplayer shooter.
More maps will be added to Battlefield 2042 via future updates that come with new seasons, though it’s not yet clear if these will be free or will be locked behind Season Passes so we’ll have to wait for more information.
Not many of these maps look big enough to host any potential Battlefield 2042 battle royale mode, but with multiplayer being free-to-play and the upcoming Hazard Zone game mode there's tons of fun to be had nonetheless. With crossplay on the cards too, however, there should be no problems filling larger maps with keen players.
In the meantime, here are all the maps currently confirmed for Battlefield 2042 and Battlefield Portal.
