Season 5 of Warzone Pacific is well underway, introducing numerous changes to the Caldera map in addition to various buffs and nerfs. If you're looking to dominate, the best warzone guns will help you achieve plenty of victories.

With the new season on the way, there's a high chance the meta could change so finding the best guns to use is important if you want to score plenty of wins.

We'll go over which guns are the best by breaking every single weapon down into tiers. You can then get a good sense of what is best to use.

What are the best Warzone guns?

S Tier
Armaguerra 43, Grau 5.56, Cooper Carbine, H4 Blixen, PPSh-41 (VG), UGM-8, Automaton

With regular doses of weapon balancing from Raven Software, the best crop of weapons often changes with the launch of a brand-new season. Season 5 is slightly different. The Armaguerra 43 has taken the mantle of the best Warzone gun to use following further nerfs to the NZ-41.

S tier

Following the most recent buffs and nerfs, these weapons stand out from the rest of the arsenal. The UGM-8 currently dominates the mid-range meta while the Marco 5 continues to act as a viable alternative to the MP40.

In addition, the sniper nerf sees the 3-Line Rifle make an appearance in the highest tier.

A tier

This set of weaponry is still capable of contending with the ever-changing meta, but does fall short in a number of areas. The most recent additions to A tier are the Swiss K31 and both Kar98k variations following the sniper balance overhaul.

If you're after an alternative AR, the EM2 and C58 from Black Ops Cold War can still compete with the best but their damage drop-off can prove problematic.

B tier

Some of the weapons that once dominated now find themselves in B tier as new weapons rise to the top of the pile. The brand-new Nikita AVT assault rifle appears in this tier due to its high recoil.

There's a wide variety of weaponry in this tier and with the right attachments, you can find success on Caldera and Rebirth Island despite their drawbacks.

C tier

These weapons may have featured in the meta of previous seasons but in Season 5, they're some of the more forgettable weapons on offer. They're certainly unique but with a lack of mid-range and long-distance performance, there are far better choices to use.

D tier

These weapons never feature in the meta and are often overlooked for good reason. Most of them feature significant flaws that no attachment combinations can fix.

If you want a really tough challenge, these weapons are perfect but don't expect to score plenty of kills.

Z tier

These weapons are easily the worst to use in Season 5 of the battle royale. It's best to evade anything in this tier altogether as there are several weapons that are much better to use on Caldera, Fortune's Keep and Rebirth Island.
