While there are games that offer a similar experience like the upcoming Wreckfest 2, fans in the comment section look forward to seeing Twisted Metal on PS5.

Sony had a roller-coaster September recently. With the closure of Concord followed by the success of Astro Bot, and now with the recent criticisms of the steep price range and limited games of the PS5 Pro, the company may need an overhaul when it comes to its roster of games.
Bringing back vehicular combat such as Twisted Metal may rekindle the interest of some gamers who want other games aside from the recently popular open-world action roleplaying games. Astro Bot is one of the prime examples that games do not need to have a wide, yet empty open world.
On the other hand, Twisted Metal’s TV series is confirmed for season 2 and has now started filming. With the success of the TV show, players can only hope for game publishers to bring the franchise back into gaming.
