The launch of the NFT profile feature enables users to upload NFTs stored in their crypto wallets as profile pictures.

Twitter's move towards embracing NFTs will certainly give its popularity a push and will enable crypto enthusiasts to join the network and boast their newly bought NFTs as display pictures. So, what's in store for Android users?

Can You Add Twitter NFT Profile Picture on Android?

Unfortunately, Android users still cannot use the Twitter NFT profile picture feature. This NFT offering has been rolled out for iOS users only. However the company has confirmed that it will soon rollout an update for Android users as well.

Apple users can use NFT profile pictures by subscribing to the paid version of Twitter called Twitter Blue. It is only available in select regions, however.

Android users can view and interact with other users' NFT profile pictures, however. That's something, I guess?

What Is The Twitter NFT Feature All About?

Earlier this year, Twitter rolled out a special NFT profile feature where users could upload their NFTs as profile pictures.

The feature quickly garnered immense traction with users ready to connect their wallets with the social media site to upload their NFTs as their display pictures on Twitter. The social media giant later confirmed that the feature will also be soon made available to android and web users.

Twitter has earlier revealed plans to explore the emerging crypto and NFT industry. With the launch of the NFT profile picture feature, it plans to scale its plans and include more diverse services in its growing portfolio. A company spokesperson told TechCrunch:

Twitter is where people go to talk about things they care about, and often where people have their first experience with crypto and NFTs. We’re now seeing people use NFTs as a form of identity and self-expression, and as a way to join the thriving community and increasingly active conversation on Twitter.
