It's been a week since Deathloop launched and already, the PC edition's now had a second patch. Following last week's minor update that informed players why the game didn't work in more detail, Arkane Studios is now tackling the reported performance issues with a new hotfix.
Releasing patch notes via Deathloop's Steam page, that simply stated:
This hotfix addresses an issue experienced by some players on PC whereby mouse-based camera movement could result in the appearance of "stutter."

As part of this update, Arkane also confirmed that they're looking into a "separate, but related issue," one they've identified as a factor causing performance stutter at high framerates. Promising more information on that soon, hopefully it won't be too long to see this issue fully resolved.
While critical reception has been overwhelmingly positive for Deathloop, currently sitting at 89 Metascore on Metacritic, it's unfortunate that isssues quickly emerged with this PC release. Thankfully, Arkane has been quick to respond and we'll keep you informed with further developments.
