On July 22nd, California's Department of Fair Employment and Housing filed a lawsuit against multi-billion dollar video game publisher Activision Blizzard. The lawsuit described the working environment within the company as a "pervasive frat-boy culture" with several incidents of sexual harassment taking place. Since the news broke, the majority of Activision's social media channels have fallen silent while more accounts of harassment have continued to emerge.
A few days after the news on the lawsuit broke, Activision Blizzard released an internal statement, much to the dissatisfaction of several employees. In a report published by Bloomberg's Jason Schrier, approximately 1,000 current and former employees have signed an open letter that condemns the publisher's response to the lawsuit.

Activision Blizzard Employees Condemns Publisher's Response
The majority of dissatisfaction comes from the company's statements around a hugely serious issue. The letter discusses both responses from Activision Blizzard's representatives and legal counsel, with staff describing them as "abhorrent and insulting."
Schrier's report includes further details from within the letter which can be found below:
One of the more prominent statements made within the letter states "our values as employees are not accurately reflected in the words and actions of our leadership," reaffirming the sense of disappointment from employees.
