The first boss you will meet in Chapter 1 is the Bullguard, a giant creature located in the Forest of Wolves. Battling this boss introduces you to the combat mechanics of Black Myth: Wukong, as its slow and predictable attacks are ideal for practicing dodging.

Unlike other optional bosses, you'll have to defeat him to progress. While fighting, a cutscene will play, and you will unlock the Immobilize Spell, which can be used to beat Bullguard.

Guangzhi is another demanding boss that you will find in Outside The Forest area. He uses a flaming sword and has quick, relentless attack combos, which make him a formidable opponent.

However, with the right strategy, especially one using the Immobilize Spell, you can slow him down and eventually defeat him.

You will face the Wandering Wight in Outside The Forest area. This boss is tough and does not appear in your Journal, making it a mysterious opponent. It's a formidable foe early in the game, so returning later after leveling up is advisable to take it on more effectively.

Remember that if you defeat Elder Jinchi before facing the Wandering Wight, the Wandering Wight will disappear. Make sure to tackle the Wandering Wight first, as its rewards are worth the effort.

Baw-Li-Guhh-Lang

Baw-Li-Guhh-Lang is a giant frog-like boss found in the Bamboo Grove's river. While not extremely tough, it can be irritating due to its backward kick and tongue-lash attacks.

Despite its low health, you'll need patience and precise timing to defeat it. Once defeated, you can absorb its Spirit, allowing you to transform into this creature later in the game.

Guangmou

With effective dodging and blocking, you can take him down. It's advised to be at least level 20 before facing this boss.

This transformation can be challenging, especially as it becomes a snake-like entity that's hard to track and handle. To overcome this boss, utilize the Pillar Stance and carefully manage your stamina to stay on top.

Be quick to defeat him, as the corpses can heal him if they get close. Upon defeating Elder Jinchi, you'll receive the Fireproof Mantle Vessel as a reward.

Black Bear Guai is the final boss of Chapter 1 and is a more formidable version of the Black Wind King. Found atop Bodhi Peak, this boss utilizes powerful flame-based attacks and a dangerous wind charge.

To boost your chances of victory, defeating Elder Jinchi first is advisable. The reward from Elder Jinchi will help you better withstand Black Bear Guai's fiery onslaught.

The Red Loong

The Red Loong is undoubtedly the most secretive boss in Chapter 1 since it needs to be unlocked with an item from Chapter 2. First, you'll need to collect the Loong Scale from Chapter 2. Once you have it, return to the Forest of Wolves, dispel a waterfall to reveal a hidden arena, and face the Red Loong.

This boss is the ultimate challenge of Chapter 1, so make sure you have the skills to take him down.
