The Kraber doesn’t take any standard attachments – but does come pre-fitted with a very powerful scope. The rifle's in-built optic can switch from six times magnification to ten times magnification.

That improved accuracy is important, too, because the gun only comes with twelve shots – four in the magazine, and eight in reserve. Like all red-tier weapons, you can't simply grab fresh ammo. So once you’ve run spent your shots, you may as well drop the Kraber.

Apex Legends Kraber skins

At the time of writing, there are a total of 59 weapon skins available for the Kraber. This includes 10 Legendary, 5 Epic, 28 Rare, and 16 Common. The prices of the skins range from 30 Crafting Metals (Common) to 1,200 Crafting Metals (Legendary).

Apex Legends Kraber review

The Kraber is one of Apex Legends’ most powerful weapons. While it can kill with a single headshot, it can down an opponent with a single body shot. Bullets can penetrate enemies, too, so you could potentially hit the jackpot and down a squad with a single bullet. Pair that with the versatile scope, and the Kraber is a force to be reckoned with from mid and long-range.

That said, it can be tricky to use if you're not used to Snipers. The Kraber requires extreme accuracy to be able to take out a moving target and takes time to reload which makes every miss an opportunity for an enemy to counterattack. Also, players will need to de-scope to prep a new round after every shot, meaning it’s not simply a case of peppering a squad from a distance.

There you have it, that's everything you need to know about the Kraber sniper rifle in Apex Legends. For more, take a look at our Apex Legends weapon tier list highlighting the best guns to use for the rest of Season 17.
