The most certain method to break the ice seal in Creamy Canyon is using a pink pig-like enemy. You'll probably run into a pink pig-like enemy on a big platform covered in sprinkles after you get past the part with the flying creature carrying Psycho Mantis.
When the pig charges at you, leap over its attack. After evading it, quickly get behind the pig and grab the loose wires protruding from its back. Use these wires to control the pig, swing it around, and hurl it like a heavy ball to defeat it. The plan is to toss the pig at the ice wall and then continue to the exit. However, if you backtrack, you can use the pig to break the ice seal instead.
After breaking the seal, use the ladybug enemy to reach where the ice seal statue was. Stand on the blue X marked on the ground and hold the Square button to charge a spinning punch. Astro will dig downward as soon as you release the button.
