Without a doubt, the only way to swiftly progress in Space Marine 2 is by unlocking and upgrading stronger weapons. You'll need to collect in-game currencies, which you earn through completing missions and regular gameplay.
Your skills and weapons carry you through in Space Marine 2. To unlock all the upgrades and weapons, you must stockpile different types of currencies. This guide will show you how to gather them all.
How to get all currencies
The main way to earn currencies is through Operations mode, which has varying difficulty levels. The tougher the challenge, the better the rewards. There are five types of currencies in the game. Here is how you can get each of them:
Armory Data
Armory Data is the most common currency, and you’ll need a lot of it to unlock Class Perks, Chapter Customization, and better versions of weapons. There are plenty of ways to get it. The easiest method is completing Operations, and the amount you get depends on the difficulty:
- Threat - Minimal: 35 Armory Data
- Threat - Average: 55 Armory Data
- Threat - Substantial: 95 Armory Data
- Threat - Ruthless: 165 Armory Data
You can also complete trials in the Armoring Hall for extra Armory Data.
Master-Crafted Armory Data
Master-Crafted Armory Data is used to upgrade standard and master-crafted weapons, and it rewards you with a Mastery Point for each. You can finish trials for each class and defeat bosses in Operations on Minimal or Average difficulty to get it. And don’t forget to search for hidden Servo-Skulls during missions, as they provide extra currency upon mission completion.
Artificer Armory Data
Artificer Armory Data is a higher-tier currency for unlocking and upgrading Artificer weapons (which take 7,500 XP to master). You can earn this currency in Operations, but only on Substantial difficulty. Explore thoroughly during missions, as hidden Servo-Skulls can reward you with extra amounts of Artificer Armory Data.
Relic Armory Data
Relic Armory Data is the rarest currency needed to purchase the game's best Relic weapons. You must complete missions in Operation mode on Ruthless difficulty to earn it. Defeating bosses and locating Servo-Skulls also grant this rare currency.
Mastery Points
Mastery Points are used to upgrade and unlock perks such as extra firepower and more ammo for your weapons. Start by purchasing a gun using Armory Data. Use your Master-Crafted, Artificer, or Relic Armory Data to unlock its mastery. Then, increase your weapon’s XP by using it in missions. When the XP bar is full, you will unlock the mastery.
