Black Myth: Wukong is an impressive mix of action RPG and Souls-like gameplay, and new players may need some tips. While the players will be taken from one boss fight to another through a linear story, there are also opportunities for a rewarding exploration.

This will take players to hidden areas with surprising questlines. One of these is the Three Bells quest, which requires players to locate and ring three ancient bells scattered throughout the game's opening chapter.

Where to Find Three Bells in Black Myth: Wukong

All three bells are located around the first chapter area called Black Wind Mountain. You will face several optional bosses as you venture on the quest before you complete it and receive valuable rewards.

The first bell is close to where you fought or ran away from the Wandering Wight. It is also closest to the Outside the Forest Shrine. To find the bell, follow the path to the bridge guarded by two wolves.

Turn left, and you will quickly run into the optional boss, General Guangzhi, but you will have to defeat him to reach the area where the bell is. You will need to learn his patterns and dodge attacks, returning with a combo when the opportunity arises.

Once you defeat it, you will receive a transformation spell called Red Tides. You will also gain access to the first bell.

Black Myth: Wukong second bell

The second bell is located beyond Snake Trail Shrine. From there, follow the path and prepare to face some enemies, including poison and skeletal lizards. Keep heading forward, and you will quickly reach another boss, Guangmou. Once you defeat it, climb up the candle-marked staircase to find the second Bell Shrine.

The third bell is in the same location. You just need to find the Marsh of White Mist Keeper’s Shrine. From there, just follow the path until you encounter the Whiteclad Noble boss.

While this boss is a bit tougher than previous fights since it has two phases, with your skills and what you learned so far, it shouldn't be a huge problem. Once you defeat it, follow the path through water on the left side. There will be some Yoaguai wolves in the new area, but once you eliminate them, all you need to do is go to the end of the road to locate the third bell.

Black Myth: Wukong Elder Jinchi

Once you ring all three bells, you will be transported to a secret area named Ancient Guanyin Temple. Here, you will fight Elder Jinchi. You can also explore the secret area for resources that you can use later in the game. Elder Jinchi is a tough boss, but you can succeed using your unlocked skills and upgrading weapons and abilities.

After you defeat it, you will receive the following:

  • 2000x Will
  • Fireproof Mantle

This secret area will also make it easier to defeat the area’s final boss, Yaoguai King boss, Black Bear Guai, as you receive the Fireproof Mantle, which makes Sun Wukong temporarily immune to all burn damage.
