How to Unlock the Golden Statue in Astro Bot

Astro Bot sports 44 trophies in total, each becoming increasingly difficult to collect as you work through them. The Monumental Achievement trophy can leave players scratching their heads about how to earn it. This trophy is awarded when you unlock the golden statue.

Even though it’s not necessarily the hardest to obtain, it can be a bit of a time-sink due to the hit-or-miss attempts you might need to make to complete it. However, with our guide, you’ll get tips to make each attempt count and save yourself some time.

How to Unlock the Golden Statue in Astro Bot

Finding all the hidden puzzle pieces is the key to unlocking the golden statue and earning the Monumental Achievement Trophy. Most of your time will likely be spent collecting all the hidden puzzle pieces, which can be a hassle. However, if adventure is what you're after, it won’t faze you.

These puzzle pieces are scattered across various levels, secret passages, bonus levels, and side areas. You may need to replay certain levels or explore less obvious areas to find all the pieces. This can take a while, particularly if certain pieces are cleverly concealed or need specific actions to be unlocked.

In total, you must collect 120 puzzle pieces. If you’d rather not repeat levels, ensure you grab everything during your first playthrough. Below is a breakdown of nebula stages containing puzzle pieces and how many are in each.

Nebula 1: Gorilla Nebula - 16

  • Sky Garden - 3 Puzzle Pieces

There is a hidden Puzzle Piece in each of the five Main Nebulas on the Space Map. Explore the Nebula with your spaceship until a UFO appears and then fly into it to obtain the Puzzle Piece.

Nebula 7: Lost Galaxy - 22
Finding all 10 Secret Level Exits (known as Lost Galaxies) in the Nebulas is necessary to unlock levels in Lost Galaxy.

  • Light Bulb Limbo - 2 Puzzle Pieces
  • Boxel Bust-Up - 2 Puzzle Pieces

At the Crash Site, you can find puzzle pieces by interacting with the blue markers. Below are the locations of all the puzzle pieces at the Crash Site:

  • Piece 1 - Lift a small rock near the Mothership with two Bots.
  • Piece 2 - Use 10 Bots to lift a rock near the Dual Speeder.
  • Piece 3 - Move a big rock with 10 Bots near stone slabs.
  • Piece 4 - Reach a ledge across the Crash Site with 10 Bots.
  • Piece 5 - Build a floating Bot Tower with 10 Bots and a bird to access a high platform.
  • Piece 6 - Get from birds in the main area (requires Squawky item).
  • Piece 7 - Score a strike in the bowling area (requires Heavy Roller item).
  • Piece 8 - Use 100 Bots to activate a platform after recovering the Mothership's Memory.
  • Piece 9 - Flip a giant turtle with 40 Bots in a new area (after recovering the Mothership’s SSD).
  • Piece 10 - Move a block of ice with 80 Bots in a new area (after recovering the Mothership's GPU).
  • Piece 11 - Break through the floor with 100 Bots in the final area (after obtaining the Mothership’s cooling fan).

Once all pieces are collected, return to the Crash Site or the last platform where you found a puzzle piece. Doing so will trigger the appearance of the golden statue. This will earn you the Monumental Achievement Trophy.

While you're there, consider familiarising yourself with the Crash Site. This will help you find your way around and maximize the features available. This area is also where you can access various trophies, including KO, Keep It Together, Deep Pocket, and Dragon trophies.

Learning the ropes of the Gacha machine at the Crash Site also lets you level up your community and earn those extra trophies and rewards to complete the game. After unlocking the golden statue, you can complete an additional task for another trophy if you choose to.

Interact with the golden statue at the Crash Site and reach its summit to earn the Golden Bot Trophy. However, you must have rescued all 300 Bots dispersed around Astro Bot to qualify. Although this quest might seem daunting, the sense of getting it done and the stunning golden statue make it all worth the ride.
