To start, you need to get to the fourth main area, Camo Cosmos, and access the Bubbling Under level. After you enter the water, you will find the penguin power-up that will help you get around more easily.
Move ahead until you encounter a sizable stone door submerged beneath the water. Instead of messing with the door that exposes a trapped starfish, go straight to the surface.
In this level, you have to find several latches to release the starfish and progress, but you can still earn the trophy even if you don’t complete this part. When you turn around after surfacing, you will spot several dolphins leaping through a hoop mounted on the wall.
This is the target for your jump. The penguin power-up must be used wisely to make it through the hoop.
Dive underwater and position yourself directly below the hoop. Hold down R2 to increase your swimming speed, and when in position, press and hold both R2 and X simultaneously to launch yourself through the hoop.
Aim carefully and ensure you’re moving upwards quickly, as hovering through the hoop might not register as a successful jump. Multiple attempts might be necessary, but eventually, you will make it. When executed correctly, the Jumping Through Hoops Trophy will pop.
