With the Mechanical Mayhem update, Epic Games added vehicles to the sandbox, with players needing charged Power Cells to fuel them up.

You'll need Power Cells to charge up vehicles

Power Cells are one of the new items added to Lego Fortnite with the Mechanical Mayhem update. Crafting them will require you to have a few key items already in your village.

First and foremost, you'll need a Crafting Bench of Uncommon rarity. This is extremely easy as the base version of the bench is given to you for free and you only need eight Planks and three Shells to upgrade it to Uncommon.

The second thing you need is to have a Compost Bin, which is fairly easy to craft. We have a dedicated guide to it so give it a look in case you don't own one already.

How to get Biomass in Lego Fortnite

Getting Biomass is not a surefire process, but it is done using the Compost Bin. Simply throw organic items such as Meat into the bin and hopefully, they'll turn into Biomass.

Sometimes you'll end up getting other resources like Fertiliser, so just keep at it until you get the required amount.

And that's it. Power Cells are the key to power up generators in order to charge your vehicles, so be sure to craft as many as you can to have a steady supply of energy.
