Unfortunately, these gates will not budge, no matter how much you wander around. While it might be frustrating to see these gates, they are meant to stay locked until later in the game.

The dungeon is designed to prevent players from advancing too far on their first visit. Focus on advancing the story by defeating the major Mausoleum bosses, as these fights will push you through the initial part of the dungeon and the game's narrative.

Once you finish this section, exit the dungeon and continue with the main story. After progressing through the game and reaching the second town (Martira), you'll unlock new opportunities that will allow you to revisit the mausoleum.

Once you’ve completed a few side quests and bounties, you will be directed to speak to a noble located on Sunlemo Street. This noble's request serves as your gateway back to the Mausoleum for a second time.

When you come back, you’ll see that the gates that held you back are now open and finally give you access to new parts of the Dungeon.

This visit also introduces some soldiers blocking a path who inform you that the Cathedral is undergoing renovations, explaining why the gates were initially locked.

One example is a gate on the right side of the dungeon that you can reach only by looping around through other paths.

In other words, revisiting the dungeon at different stages will gradually unlock all the gates. Each time you revisit the Mausoleum, you'll unlock new side quests that provide more ways to access other locked gates.

For instance, a side quest (aka Skullduggery) picked up from a soldier outside the Mausoleum will help you access more areas. In this quest, you must collect Mortaskulls from specific enemies to unlock another section of the dungeon.

You need to pay close attention to your surroundings because there are often small passageways that can help you bypass locked gates, like hidden paths under walls.

Some gates also work as shortcuts, which you can unlock by solving puzzles or finding keys hidden in nearby rooms.
