MultiVersus is a platform fighting game similar to Nintendo’s extremely popular Smash series. In it, you can find the likes of Shaggy from Scooby Doo taking on Bugs Bunny, Superman, and even the horror icon Jason Vorhees. How to Get Agent Smith in MultiVersus
You can gain access to Agent Smith by clearing Rifts in MultiVersus as part of an in-game challenge. After defeating a boss inside a Rift, players will earn points that go towards their progress for unlocking Agent Smith. Aside from Agent Smith himself, you will also be able to grab a ton of other rewards like Fighter Currency and character skins.
Agent Smith hasn’t been officially released just yet so you may not see the character in your roster if you run through these Rifts right away. But if you get these challenges out of the way early, you’ll be able to play as Agent Smith as soon as he becomes available.
Players can earn points for the Agent Smith event from the MultiVersus launch up until Tuesday, July 30, 2024. That gives you plenty of time to play the game and unlock a character for free.
What are Rifts in MultiVersus?
Rifts in MultiVersus are essentially the game’s PvE mode. Here, you’ll be able to fight bot-controlled opponents, go up against bosses, and experience various challenges. MultiVersus will ease you into the game with a Tutorial Rift and from there you can start earning rewards through seasonal Rifts.
Players also have the option of taking on co-op Rifts, allowing them to team up with other players to make quick work of whatever challenge they are faced with. Rifts will change with each season and will follow the current period’s theme.
