How to build an Ore Farm in Palworld

Ore is one of the most important materials in Palworld, even in the early game. You can smelt them in a furnace to make Ingots, which helps you build structures and make upgraded gear, among other things such as Pal Spheres and equipment repairing tools.

Two primary methods exist for obtaining ores in Palworld: manual mining or delegating the task to your Pals. While manually mining is effective in urgent situations, having Pals farm ores for you allows you to focus on other tasks or explore the game world.

To build your first Ore Farm in Palworld, you'll need to build a base close to some Ore rocks. Here are the structures that you need to place at this base:

  • Palbox (Requires 1 Paldium Fragment, 8 Wood, and 3 Stone)
  • Wooden Chest (Requires 15 Wood and 5 Stone)
  • Straw Pal Bed (Requires 10 Wood and 5 Fiber)
  • Feed Box (Requires 20 Wood)
  • Berry Plantation (Requires 2 Berry Seeds, 20 Wood, and 20 Stone)
  • Hot Spring (Requires 30 Wood and 15 Stone)

Mining Pals, such as Digtoise, Dumud, and Tombat, will help you mine the Ore when you assign them to work at the base. Over time, your Pals will gather ample Ores, and the rocks will respawn, allowing for continuous ore farming.

Feed Boxes, Straw Pal Beds, and Hot Springs are necessary for the eating, sleeping, and relaxation needs of your pets. You'll need to check on them once in a while to ensure that everything's running smoothly, and none of your Pets are suffering from ailments. As for the Berry Plantation, put a Pal to work by assigning them to tend to crops.

Have at least one additional Pal assigned to transport ores to the Wooden Chest, and you're set! Your Pals should efficiently mine and transport ores, yielding hundreds of resources daily.

That's everything you need to know to build an Ore Farm in Palworld. If you're interested in more guides on this game, feel free to take a look at how to get Ancient Civilization Parts and Points in Palworld. And if you're looking for a challenge, test your combat skills in the Palworld Dungeons.
