Are you wondering if you'll need a full squad to enjoy Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League? In this article, we'll answer if you'll be able to enjoy Rocksteady's upcoming title solo or not.

Following the massive success of the Arkham series, fans had to wait quite a long time to see what Rocksteady had been cooking – and reactions have been mixed, to say the least.

First revealed in 2020, five years after the release of Arkham Knight, Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League has had a rocky development cycle, with the team facing backlash from fans, delays, and even massive leaks confirmed by Rocksteady itself.

The biggest concern fans have is whether Suicide Squad could be enjoyed as a solo player, with most of the previews focusing on the multiplayer aspect of the game. So, it's time to answer that burning question – is Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League a single-player game?

Are you flying solo in Suicide Squad?

If you're someone that enjoys their gaming experience to be a quiet, relaxing, time with no one bothering you, then you'll be pleased to hear that yes, Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League can be played solo.

While the game encourages teamwork, with the four members of the Suicide Squad (Harley Quinn, Boomerang, Deadshot, and King Shark) roaming the streets of Metropolis together at all times, the villains not controlled by the player will still be around to help with an AI taking control of them (fortunately it won't be Brainiac).

Adding to that, during December's The Game Awards ceremony, it was confirmed that Suicide Squad would be playable offline, making it easier to enjoy for those not looking to indulge in multiplayer craziness.

Still, it'll remain to be seen how playing it alone will affect the game's performance, especially when it comes to ally behaviour and how necessary it'll be to have decent companions while trying to take down the likes of Batman, Green Lantern, or Superman.
