Warhammer 40000: Space Marine 2 is the second title in the Space Marine franchise (third if you count Boltgun). The original title was released in 2011 and successfully gathered a huge fanbase. The game offers action-packed gameplay along with a strong storyline.
Space Marine 2 also includes a Multiplayer Mode where players can play with friends across all platforms. The only catch is that you can’t access the Multiplayer from the beginning of the game, but it doesn’t take much work to unlock.

Complete The Prologue
After starting the game, you’ll need to complete the tutorial mission. This prologue is quite long as it helps you learn all the basics, from basic movement to handling weapons and using abilities. This is an important tutorial for beginners, as the game can get tense if you haven’t figured it out already.
After finishing up with the introductory mission, speak with Captain Acheran. Here, you’ll receive the mission briefings. You’ll be dropped into Kadaku to start your first mission — Skyfire. Once you’ve completed the mission, you’ll unlock Multiplayer and be able to play Eternal War PVP.

Share The Code
Once you’ve unlocked access to multiplayer, you’ll want to add friends to your party to play with. Doing this is easy; you only need to press “Y” on your Keyboard (Triangle for PlayStation users and Y for Xbox Users). You’ll see a key icon next to your name. Clicking on this will display a 5-digit code.
Share this code with your buddies and ask them to repeat the first two steps. They’ll need to use this code in the Textbox just below the “Join The Squad” option. Once they’ve completed these steps, they can join you in your conquest.
Alternative Method
You can do this if you don’t want to go through all that trouble. Use the designated button to open the Tab and spot the “ + “ sign.
By interacting with this sign, you’ll open your Friends List. You can choose the players you wish to play with in seconds.
Inviting Cross-Play Friends
To invite players from different platforms, link your Space Marine 2 account to your Epic Account and enable Cross-Play from the settings menu. You can also invite players with whom you’ve recently been in a game lobby by selecting the Key icon and the clock icon on the left. All recent players will be available here.
