WoW Classic speed leveling through quests
For most players, the main way that you'll level is through the game is through the quests. The main story quests (MSQs) are going to be one of the biggest sources of experience, but with a small catch. Zones have level ranges, and as such, part of the efficiency strategy is doing quests in zones with ranges that match your level. It's often the case that you'll start to outlevel a zone. If this is the case, try to finish up the MSQ in that zone as soon as possible to move on to the next zone.
Here's a list of all the zones in Wrath classic, including what their level ranges are. This will let you know when to move on, and not linger around too much. Also killing mobs in zones that you've out-leveled give you drastically reduced experience gains, so if you have out-leveled a zone, only kill what's necessary to save time.

WoW Classic speed leveling through dungeons
The other method that you can do if you don't want to blast through the campaign is to try and dungeon spam. Dungeons have powerful elites in them and you'll get some solid experience from them. You should get similar experience gains per hour as questing, even when you split exp with your team.
The downside to this method is that you ideally want to do it with a coordinated group. This will allow you to coordinate your comp and fights a bit more for faster clears. That being said, there is going to be a new dungeon and group finder coming which will be a great help to finding a team to do this with.
There's two main styles of comps you can go with, phys cleave, and spell cleave. Phys cleave, you're looking for physical dps classes that can mow down mobs like mad. Paladins, Warriors, and a good healer. Spell cleave isn't just about spells but ranged. Warlocks and hunter pets are great to have, and on top of that Bear druids are the ideal tanks here. You're going to pull a lot of stuff, and the bear can hold it all with it's massive AoE threat generation.
WoW Classic speed leveling tips
Always log out in cities
Logging out in cities will grant your character Rest Experience. Any experience gained in your Rest EXP bars are doubled, which will help with picking your leveling back up after a break.
Save for your Mount
One of the slowest things that you can do in the game is walk from quest to quest. While you will need to do this or spend gold on flight paths in the early game, the sooner that you can get your mount, the faster your leveling can pick up.
You may be tempted to pick up every level of every spell that your trainer offers you, but that can wait until you have you mount. Doing your quests is a great source of gold, so you can eventually pick those up once you acquire some additional funds.
Train a crafting and gathering profession while leveling
If you train a crafting and accompanying gathering profession while you're leveling, it'll serve two purposes. Firstly, it will save you some gold on gear as you're leveling, and eventually it will allow you to sell things for gold later down the line.
Early game focused ones would be skinning and leatherworking, or mining and blacksmithing. Late game focused professions you'll definitely want to consider are jewelcrafting and alchemy.
Pick up a questing add on
Questing add ons are very helpful. They can auto accept and auto turn in quests, speeding up that process. They also will help put quest markers and offer tips during your leveling process for each quest. Blizzard has said that there will be a quest assistant baked into Wrath Classic, so this may not be needed. But be ready to have one in case the in game one isn't great.
And that's all that we have for you! Hopefully with this guide, you'll have the knowledge to power through leveling for Wrath Classic so you can get to that incredibly fun end game.
