Wuthering Waves Tower of Adversity Explained

The Tower of Adversity in Wuthering Waves is a game mode where players are tasked with clearing towers full of powerful enemies within a time limit. Players will also experience Interference in this mode, which is an environmental effect that can boost your Resonators' capabilities in battle.

There are three zones within the Tower of Adversity, each one having a separate set of towers, Interference effects, and rewards. Here’s a quick rundown of the different Tower of Adversity zones:

Stable Zone

This zone has a single tower that contains four battles and serves as an introduction to the Tower of Adversity. The level of opponents in the Stable Zone ranges from 35 to 50.

Clearing all four encounters in the Stable Zone will unlock the next Tower of Adversity Zone.

Experiment Zone

An intermediate zone that has two towers. Each tower has four encounters with enemy levels going up to 70.

Clearing all battles in the Experiment Zone will grant access to the third Tower of Adversity zone, the Hazard Zone.

Hazard Zone

The Hazard Zone has three towers, the first two having four levels to clear just like the towers in previous zones. The final tower, the Tower of Hazard, has only two levels but it contains some of the most challenging encounters in the game.

Content within the Hazard Zone is refreshed every few weeks, granting players the opportunity to take on new challenges and pick up new rewards regularly.

What is Vigor in Tower of Adversity?

Vigor is a resource that is consumed whenever a Resonator is used to clear a level in the Tower of Adversity. Each character will have its own Vigor value, so be sure to plan out your teams accordingly.

This is a nice way to encourage players to get creative with their lineups when clearing endgame content in Wuthering Waves. The game has a roster full of characters with unique gameplay mechanics, so exploring your options could help you find the missing piece to your next Tower of Adversity clear.
