New League of Legends Champion Vex Set For Release In September

Akshan, League of Legends’ newest champion was just released this month in update 11.15. But now, fans may now already look forward to the newest upcoming champion in the game, Vex, who will make her arrival this September.

Riot Games’ Announcement

As seen in the tweet posted on the official League of Legends Twitter account, it mentioned the link redirecting towards their statement about the release of the upcoming champion.

Lead champion producer Ryan “Reav3” Mireles said through their official blog post that ‘as long as everything goes as planned, Vex should be coming out in September.’

He also added that they are currently working on her power source which is her shadow to be released ‘just right in game,’ implying that this is the reason why she will be out after Sentinels of the Light.

Vex In Sentinels of the Light

League of Legends players who already did the Sentinels of the Light event which is currently live may be familiar already with Vex.

In the story, she works with the Ruined champion Viego by helping him to get items that house the soul of Isolde, the Ruined King’s wife.

So, it is only a matter of time once she arrives in the game. And one other champion would be added then to the already huge champion pool in League of Legends.
