Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga has been getting plenty of great reviews, and it looks like the hype resonated with fans, as it has become the most-played Lego game on Steam. The stats at SteamDB (via VGC) show that the new Lego Star Wars game had 82,517 concurrent players, beating the previous record by a whopping 1200%.
Prior to Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga beating this record, the first Lego Marvel Super Heroes held the record for most-played Lego game on Steam, sitting on 5,953 concurrent players.

Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga Becomes Steam's Biggest Lego Game
While the critical reception likely helped, and the fact that this is the first Lego Star Wars game in a while, the revamped gameplay was for us the biggest draw. The previous Lego games still have a simplistic charm to them, though.
