Capcom is preparing hefty post-launch support for Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin.
Having recently released Update 1.1.0 which incorporated a host of subquests and bug fixes, the latest free expansion will add even more monster action.

Monster Hunter Stories 2's Updates Roadmap Laid Out Until October, New Update Coming August 5th
The Japanese publisher has also announced its impending roadmap of free updates up until October, including a selection of co-op missions and more Monsties:
Starting August 5th, Hunters will have the chance of facing the deadly monster, Kulve Taroth in a co-op exclusive mission. While two unparalleled Monsties in Boltreaver Astalos and Hellblade Glavenus will also make their way to Wings of Ruin.
Capcom has also announced special content releasing on August 19, which includes four co-op missions and two subquests.
Following its release just a month ago, Monster Hunter Stories 2 has already surpassed one million units worldwide. While the franchise's counterpart in Monster Hunter Rise has shipped 7.5 million copies since its launch. Due to the success of Rise and Resident Evil: Village, Capcom experienced its best-ever Q1 earnings ever recorded.
