Cyberpunk 2077 is completely finished, after years of updates and patches to make the RPG better than ever. Fans won’t ever forget the state of this game at launch, so the fact that this is a quality game now will be worth remembering.

In the company’s financial results, it was revealed that there are no longer any devs working on this game after 3.5 years. The devs at CD Projekt Red are now working on their next Witcher game, which should have fans talking when it's officially revealed.

Devs working on Cyberpunk 2077 have been reassigned to other projects, with many assuming that they’ll work on the next Witcher title. A sequel to the game is also likely, so we won’t be too surprised if this RPG gets one that launches in a much better state.

Most gamers will remember how bad Cyberpunk was at launch, with the PS4 and Xbox One performing at horrible levels many never expected to see for these generations. It’s clear that this game was made for PC and current-gen systems, as these ports play a lot better than the last-gen versions.

Luckily, the devs at CD Projekt Red didn’t give up on the game and Cyberpunk 2077 was able to redeem itself a year or so after. The various bugs and game-breaking issues were finally resolved, with even the last-gen ports being playable to some extent. Not long after that, the game got a complete revamp on current-gen systems as part of the Phantom Liberty expansion, which added new mechanics and improved the open-world.

Hilariously, this RPG won “Best Ongoing Game” at The Game Awards, somehow beating a number of live-service games that are actually ongoing. Now, this winner of “Best Ongoing Game” has no developers working on it, showing why this single-player RPG should have never won this award.

Cyberpunk 2077 is finally complete and most gamers can play it without fearing anything. The first-person open-world RPG is available now on PS5, Xbox Series, and PC.
