Fallout: London is one of the most anticipated fan mods coming, despite numerous delays that were caused by series publisher Bethesda. After the recent current-gen update delayed this, it seems that the devs behind the mod are finally going to release their project after years or work.

The mod’s official Twitter account has confirmed that they are nearing completion and will wait for the greenlight before releasing it. Based on the post, it seems that the devs are working with GOG to distribute this mod and everything will be coming out sooner rather than later.

Interestingly, the Fallout: London mod will be coming with a “downgrader,” since a lot of the work was done without the current-gen update. Assuming everything goes well, it seems that having a downgrader will prevent any future updates from Bethesda breaking this mod. Let’s hope that’s the case.

While the Fallout series has always focused on how America would have been like, many fans are curious to see how London shakes things up. British culture is just as interesting as North America’s and it will be interesting to see just how the mod changes things. Hopefully, the story draws us in, though most players are more into exploring London then learning about it.

Many fans have been excited about Fallout: London since it was first announced, as changing the setting will do a lot for this series. Unfortunately, the mod has been delayed numerous times, whether it was due to games like Starfield, though they have shown plenty of progress.

No release date for Fallout: London has been revealed, though fans should be getting news on this fairly soon. Hopefully, this mod lives up to the hype and gives gamers a reason to pick up Fallout 4 again. Let’s also hope that Bethesda doesn’t release anything that might break this mod, intentionally or unintentionally.
