IO Interactive’s amazing Hitman: Blood Money sneaks onto Nintendo Switch later this month following its recent mobile release.

Releasing on January 25, 2024, Hitman: Blood Money - Reprisal is an enhanced version of IO’s 2006 original by Feral Interactive. Alongside the original game’s 12 unforgettable levels, Reprisal includes a number of improvements for newcomers.

In the new version of the classic Hitman game, you’ll be able to use all-new features. This includes the new Instinct Mode, an always-present minimap, and other improvements seen in newer games such as Hitman 3.

Hitman: Blood Money - Reprisal will cost £19.99 / $29.99 on launch, although those who pre-order will be able to nab the title at a hefty 15% discount. While you can grab the game on platforms like Xbox 360 for just a few quid, you won’t get the new version’s host of improvements.

While Hitman: Blood Money - Reprisal doesn’t have massively overhauled visuals, it’s still a great looking game. It definitely looks like it’s from 2006, but for a game that released as a cross-gen title almost 20 years ago, it’s certainly held up very nicely.

Hitman: Blood Money is renowned for being the pinnacle of the classic series, especially following IO’s rough titles afterwards. Following Mini Ninjas, Kane and Lynch and Hitman: Absolution, fans begged IO to return to the classic Hitman formula.

Nowadays, there’s a lot of Hitman content to choose from on other consoles. However, outside of a cloud version of Hitman 3, the Nintendo Switch has been lacking. With the arrival of Blood Money’s new remaster, Switch players finally have a Hitman game they can take on the go.
