Rocksteady’s unloved live-service Arkham spin-off Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League is already being given away after horrendous sales n umbers and a dwindling player base. But will anyone actually jump into the game after nabbing it for a total of zero dollars.

Added as a bonus for the two-day Amazon Prime Day event, Amazon Prime subscribers will be able to nab a free copy of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League for the Epic Games Store. However, to actually entice customers, Amazon is also giving away two other games for Prime subscribers.

Subscribers will also be able to get their hands on Rise of the Tomb Raider 20th Anniversary Edition, a version that comes with all of the game’s DLC. Lastly, Amazon is also giving away Chivalry 2, an amazing multiplayer experience with brutal melee combat.

Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League isn’t a terrible game, but it is very disappointing one. While our reviewer really clicked with the game’s combat and the admittedly great story cutscenes, Rocksteady’s post-launch support has been incredibly dire for a live-service title.

While we haven’t gone back to the game in a month or so, Suicide Squad’s Season One update was a complete embarrassment. With the base game’s narrative being the only real strong element, every post-launch season has failed to add in any proper narrative mission. Not only that, but Season One Episode 2 managed to add some actual content for the first time, and it was absolutely abhorrent.

Publisher Warner Bros has officially deemed Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League a failure, and developers have already revealed they knew the game would fail. Nevertheless, despite reports that post-launch support was dead and buried, Rocksteady has promised to finish its DLC roadmap for fans of the game.

If you have a few friends who are willing to install Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League, you may have a decent time. As a single-player game it’s mind-numbing, but it can be a fun co-op adventure… when it works.
