It's been three years since Red Dead Redemption 2 released, and while there's no telling if we'll ever see a Red Dead Redemption 3, the Morgan gang might be coming back in a different way. New rumours are swirling that a remastered version of the first Red Dead Redemption is currently in development.
Redditer u/SmashBrosFanalic (thanks Gamesradar) said that "Red Ded Redemption Remastered is reportedly coming to PC." They also gives the link to the original source, citing DSOG as the one who first discovered the rumours from Rockstar Mag's Chris Klippel, who also claimed GTA 6 is stuck in a messy development cycle.

Red Dead Redemption Remastered Rumoured To Be In Development
GTA Definitive Edition will release November 11, and it would make sense for Rockstar to create enhanced versions of their classic games to help fill the development schedule, since there's no telling when GTA 6 might release. Red Dead Redemption could be the next best choice.
