Valorant is a team-based, tactical first-person shooter created by Riot Games. The game sees teams of five go against each other and take turns to attack and defend sites. With that being said, co-operation and teamwork can be vital for securing a win in Valorant, so you might want to recruit some friends to play alongside you.
In this guide, we explain how to add friends and accept friend requests in Valorant.

Valorant: How To Add Friends
Adding friends is simple... provided they can remember their Riot ID and tagline. Once you know the ID and tagline of your friend, simply navigate to the lower right-hand corner of your home menu and click the icon that displays a person with a '+' symbol (shown above).
From here, you can input your friends details and click '+'. It may take a moment, but they'll soon have a friend request from you to accept. Once accepted, you can hover over their name in your friends list, and if they're online, you can join their party or invite them to join yours.
If things are the other way around, and your friend has sent you a request, it'll pop up in the lower left corner of your home menu screen with a small mail icon. Clicking on this will display the above image, and you'll be able to click 'Add Friend' to accept them. Then, let the games commence!
That's everything you need to know about adding and accepting new friends in Valorant. Valorant is fun to play solo, but playing with a strong duo or even a team of five is much-needed if you want to climb competitive ranks.
